Our focus is on specific agonistic and antagonistic compounds that play a pivotal role in maintaining an equilibrium through the modulation of GPCRs and thereby ion channels, transporters, enzymes, other protein- and non-protein cellular structures found within the immune system and central & peripheral nervous systems. Positive and negative feedback loops caused by the action of these compounds alter different physiological processes.
A variety of oncolytic, neurologic, and endocrine diseases result when normal equilibrium is not achieved. Specific GPCRs are implicated in a number of these diseases. Our initial focus as a company is on investigating the modulation of a specific receptor across selective tumors. We have compelling preclinical data supporting our innovative approach, which shows promising potential in targeting specific diseases.*
